Counter attack by the “Islamic State” organization in the Eastern Qalamoun and airstrikes target the countryside of Aleppo and al-Raqqah city

 

Rif Dimashq Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
The clashes renewed between the “Islamic State” organization against the rebel and Islamic factions in areas in the Eastern Qalamoun, in an attempt by the organization to regain control of areas it lost in the past few days and weeks, where clashes were accompanied by exchange of targeting, amid advancement by the organization, and confirmed information about casualties in their ranks.

Aleppo Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
The warplanes bombed areas in the western countryside of Aleppo, no information about injuries until the moment.

Al-Raqqah Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
The warplanes carried out after midnight of yesterday a raid on area in the city of Al-Raqqah, the main stronghold of the “Islamic State” organization, and no information about casualties.
