Regime forces advance in areas in the eastern desert of Homs and clashes in the countryside of al-Salamiyah

Homs province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
The violent clashes continue in areas in Palmyra Desert and other areas in the eastern countryside of Homs, between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the “Islamic State” organization, and the clashes are accompanied by intense shelling by the regime forces on the clash areas and on the “Islamic State” organization’s controlled areas, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the regime forces were able to advance in the area and control hills in Shomariyyeh  area.

Hama province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
Clashes took place between fighters of the factions against the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them in the western countryside of al-Salamiyah city in the eastern countryside of Hama, amid exchange of targeting between both parties, no information about human losses.
