Renewed violations accompany the ceasefire in the 5th day in the “de-escalation zones” in the Syrian territory.
The ceasefire has completed its 5th day within the “de-escalation zones” which extend from the north of Syria to the south of Syria, and include Idlib province, the northern countryside of both Hama and Homs, the Eastern Ghouta and the Syrian south, since the midnight of Friday-Saturday the 6th of May 2017, and Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the breaches in these areas.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented more violations, where 2 shells landed on areas in Jam’eyyat al-Zahra’a neighborhood in the western outskirts of Aleppo city, also the regime forces areas shelled areas in Jabal al-Turkman in the northern countryside of Latakia, which injured 2 fighters of the Islamic factions, also clashes took place between fighters of the factions against the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them in the western countryside of al-Salamiyah city in eastern countryside of Hama, amid exchange of targeting between both parties, while al-Lataminah town in the northern countryside of Hama has witnessed intensive shelling since the morning by the regime forces using rocket and artillery shells, no information about casualties, where at least 10 Grad rockets were launched by the regime forces and landed on areas in the town, in addition to targeting the town with 30 shells at least which landed on areas in the agricultural land of the town, while warplanes opened heavy machineguns’ fire on areas in the vicinity of Lataminah town in the northern country of Hama, also the clashes renewed between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the Islamic factions in al-Qaboun area at the eastern outskirts of the capital, while a rocket shell landed on area in the vicinity of Abu Rummaneh neighborhood and another one in Rawda neighborhood at the middle of the capital.
In the same context, clashes took place between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the rebel and Islamic factions in Ofanya town area in northern countryside of Al-Quneitra, also several shells landed on areas in al-Baath city which is controlled by the regime forces in the countryside of Al-Quneitra, also regime forces launched artillery shells and 3 explosive cylinders on areas in Daraa al-Balad in Daraa city, the regime forces also targeted with several shells areas in Kharab al-Shahem town in the countryside of Daraa, in conjunction with shelling by the regime forces for areas in the Western Gharya town, also the regime forces launched mortar shells on areas in the vicinity of Alama town in the middle countryside of Daraa, also 7 shells launched by the regime forces and landed on places in the areas of Beit Nayem and Hosh al-Salhiya in the Eastern Ghouta, also 5 members of the regime forces including a colonel of the “Palestine Liberation Army” loyal to the regime forces were killed during the clash against the rebel and Islamic factions in Beit Nayem area in the eastern Ghouta yesterday, while the Islamic factions launched Grad rockets on positions in al-Qasr al-Emirati area in the desert of Damascus in the Eastern Qalamoun, and information about casualties in the ranks of the regime Forces and militiamen loyal to them.
