Warplanes exploit the truce in the “de-escalation zones” and carry out a massacre killing 24 persons at least in the eastern countryside of Hama
Warplanes targeted places in villages and areas in Uqayribat Township in the eastern countryside of Hama, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the warplanes targeted since the night of the 15th of May 2017 until the dawn of the first 16th of the same month areas in Uqayribat and its villages, causing tens of casualties and wounded, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights was able to documented the death of 24 persons, they are: 6 civilian citizens including 2 brothers, 10 members of the “Islamic State” organization and the remaining 8 are unidentified yet because most of the bodies were blackened due to targeting by warplanes for cars carrying citizens to other areas in Uqayribat, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation.
