The grand battle of Al-Raqqa continues violently on the second day and the International Coalition’s Warplanes kill 30 civilians within 48 hours of targeting

 

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented 8 civilians including a man, his wife and 3 of their children, they were killed in airstrikes by the International Coalition on al-Raqqa city, which is the stronghold of the “Islamic State” organization in Syria, which also c injured several others, and raising to at least 29 including 3 children and their mother, the number of people who were killed and documented by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights within the past 48 hours, in targeting by the International Coalition for al-Raqqa city and ferry and boat gathering  area at the banks of the Euphrates River from al-Raqqa from the city side.

 

This escalated shelling by the International Coalition on al-Raqqa city, which has caused casualties among civilian citizens, comes in conjunction with violent and continued clashes between the “Euphrates Wrath” forces against members of the “Islamic State” organization in the outskirts of al-Raqqa city and its vicinity, where the clashes are concentrated in al-Mashlab neighborhood in the east of the city between the Syrian Elite Forces against members of the organization, in an attempt by the Syrian Elite Forces to advance and go deep into the neighborhood supported by the International Coalition’s warplanes, and sources asserted to the Syrian Observatory that the forces managed to control new buildings and positions inside the neighborhood, while the clashes are still taking place inside the Brigade 17 and its vicinity north of al-Raqqa city, between Syria Democratic Forces against the “Islamic State” organization, in conjunction with clashes between both parties in the outskirts of Hirqla area in the west of al-Sabahiya neighborhood in the western outskirts of al-Raqqa city, where the great battle of al-Raqqa has entered its second day after starting the offensive dawn of yesterday, Tuesday the 6th of June 2017 by the “Euphrates Wrath” operation forces.
