US Special Forces participate in the fronts of Al-Raqqah city and “Euphrates Wrath” Operation Forces keep on controlling 70% of the first neighborhood in the city

Al-Raqqah Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the violent clashes are still taking place between the Syria Democratic Forces and the Syrian Elite Forces supported by the International Coalition against the “Islamic State” organization, in the eastern outskirts of Al-Raqqah city, where the Syrian Observatory was informed by reliable sources that the “Euphrates Wrath” operation forces are still controlling about 70% of al-Mashlab neighbourhood which is the one and only neighborhood they have entered do far, as a result of the violent offensive they started in the neighborhood, which is being monitored by the “Islamic State” organization thoroughly via its snipers and via planting mines intensively in al-Mashlab neighborhood, which was earlier emptied of its people, reliable sources told of the Syrian Observatory that the reason for the emptying the neighbourhood was digging trenches and tunnels by the organization inside the neighbourhood, and organization’s well fortifying for its self, and also out of fear for its members not to be hindered by the civilians inside al-Mashlab neighborhood, while the International Coalition’s warplanes are trying to intensify its targeting on the neighbourhood in order to secure a road for the “Euphrates Wrath” operation to advance into the neighbourhood.
Also the Syrian Observatory received confirmed information reported the participation of the US Special Forces effectively, and that they spread in the northern and western fronts of Al-Raqqah city.
