Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham carries out a violent attack on sites of Al-Sham Corps and the Division 13 in Maarrat Al-Nu’man and kills a colonel defected of the regime forces
Idlib province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that violent clashes took place in Maarrat Al-Nu’man city, located in the southern countryside of Idlib, between Al-Sham Corps and Division 13 against Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham and, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory: members of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham raided the city at the Maghreb prayer in order to control headquarters of Al-Sham Corps and the Division 13, which started violent clashes between both parties, where more than 5 fighters of Al-Sham Corps were killed and confirmed information about more casualties in the ranks of both parties, followed by demonstration of people of Maarrat Al-Nu’man city to stop the clashes but members of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham broke it up by shooting, and information about wounded, in the same context, the fate of the defected colonel of the regime forces “Tayseer al-Samahi”, the deputy commander of the “Idlib Free Police”, is still unknown, as the information inflected about being arrested or murdered by Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, also Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham accused the Division 13 of murdering the father of a security member of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham by knife stabbing in Maarrat Al-Nu’man.
