Continued escalation for the 4th day in Jobar neighbourhood and its surroundings and over 65 airstrikes, missile and artillery shells target it

The regime forces continues a new round of shelling escalation on Jobar neighbourhood, located at the eastern outskirts of the capital Damascus, and the activists of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the warplanes since the morning of today carrying out at least 16 raids, 12 of them targeted Jobar neighborhood, while the rest of them targeted areas in the town of Ein Tarma adjacent to it and located at the outskirts of the Eastern Ghouta, within the framework the renewed escalation on the east of Damascus, which caused material damage, no information about casualties yet, and the neighbourhood of Jobar  witnessed clashes during the last night between the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities against the Islamic factions.

And with the renewed raids, it rose to 42 at least, the number of raids carried out by warplanes that targeted areas in Jobar neighbourhood and its surroundings and the outskirts of the Eastern Ghouta, since Thursday the 15th of June 2017, the date of the start of the escalation on and around the neighbourhood, in conjunction with launching about 25 artillery and rocket shells and six missiles believed to ground-to-ground.
