The Russian-American-Jordanian agreement to halt the fighting in Daraa ends its 48 hours after calm interrupted by violations in Daraa city

Daraa Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the 48 hours of the Russian-American-Jordanian truce to stop the fighting in Daraa City which was put into effect at 12 pm on the 17th of June 2017 came to an end today. The calm that prevailed as a result of the truce was only interrupted by a number of shelling rounds by the regime forces targeting areas under the control of the factions in the City. The first few hours of the regional-international truce also witnessed a number of shells that were fired by the regime forces in areas in Daraa Al-Balad and several raids by the warplanes on areas in the vicinity of Daraa Camp and in Daraa city.
