Drone loaded with bombs downed in the sky of Al-Raqqah city and the “Islamic State” organization carries out a violent counter attack at the walls of the old city

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned from reliable sources that the Syrian Elite Forces who participate in the grand battle of Al-Raqqah, managed to shoot down a drone belongs to the “Islamic State” organization and it was carrying bombs, where the organization have been using such drones for months in bombing the vicinity and countryside of Al-Raqqah city and in the provinces of Homs and Deir Ezzor, this comes in conjunction with the outbreak of violent clashes between the Syria Democratic Forces and the Syrian Elite Forces supported by the US Special Forces, against the “Islamic State” organization at the walls of the old city of Al-Raqqah, between al-Sinaa neighborhood and Bab Baghdad, after a violent attack by the organization in the area, accompanied by violent explosions caused by the exchange of the intense shelling between both parties, also the warplanes of the International Coalition fly in the sky of the clash areas and target the organization’s controlled areas and positions, reliable sources confirmed that the clashes have caused casualties in the ranks of both parties.
