Faction of Daraa restore location of which the regime forces advanced to west of Daraa and prevent them from reaching the borders of Jordan

Daraa Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:: The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned from several reliable sources that the rebel and Islamic factions, through their counter attack, which was carried out in areas of which the regime forces and militants loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities have advanced to, managed to regain control of the Air Defense Battalion and Tha’yelya hill west of Daraa city, of which the regime forces aimed at achieving further progress and reaching the Syrian – Jordanian border, which would enable the regime forces to separate the whole western and northwestern countryside of Daraa from the eastern and northeastern countryside of Daraa, where at least 4 fighters were killed in these clashes and at least 12 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in the same clashes.

These clashes were accompanied by heavy shelling monitored by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, which documented since after midnight on Monday – Tuesday and so far that the warplanes carried out 85 raids, airstrikes and missile shelling on areas in the city of Daraa, where the helicopters dropped at least 55 barrel bombs on the clash areas and on areas in Daraa city and its vicinity, while the Russian and the regime’s warplanes carried out about 20 raids on the city, amid launching about 30 missiles believed to be ground to ground by the regime forces on the same places.
