A second massacre within 48 hours leaves 30 dead and tens injured in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

Deir Ezzor Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: in the last few hours, warplanes, the identity of which is still unknown, targeted Al-Dablan area and its surroundings, 20 km east of Al-Mayadeen city in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. The SOHR learned that these airstrikes caused a new massacre in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, leaving at least 30 dead and others injured, with various degrees of severity. Local sources confirmed to the SOHR that the number of martyrs is likely to rise because some of the injured are in a critical condition and because there are still some people missing beneath the rubble caused by the shelling.

This is considered the second massacre perpetrated in Al-Mayadeen area in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor within the last 48 hours. . The SOHR published yesterday that the International Coalition warplanes targeted one of ISIS prisons in Al-Mayadeen city, leaving 42 civilian prisoners and 15 members of ISIS, 11 of whom were detained in the prison, dead in addition to tens of others injured with various degrees of severity and others missing.
