Escalated raids target Jobar and Ein Tarma along with renewed clashes in both areas

Violent clashes continue between the regime forces and their allied militiamen on one hand and Al-Rahman Legion on the other in Zamalka city and its outskirts, in the vicinity of Ein Tarma town in the eastern Ghouta and several other areas in Jobar neighborhood at the outskirts of Damascus. Clashes are accompanied by intensive shelling by the regime forces, but no casualties were reported. Meanwhile, the warplanes carried out at least 13 raids on areas of clashes, while the regime forces managed few days ago to make a new advancement into Ein Tarma area, located at the western outskirts of the Eastern Ghouta as they were able to take control of a block of 10 houses near Ein Tarma, from the side of AlMotahalik AlJanobi (the Southern Bypass), amid violent clashes in an attempt by Al-Rahman Legion to regain control over the areas. Clashes were accompanied by intensive shelling by the regime forces and exchange of targeting between both parties to the fighting. The SOHR published around 6 days ago that the regime forces managed to control a driving school near Ein Tarma village, amid several attempts by the regime forces to advance more in the area, while the factions are seeking to regain control over the area. The clashes in Ein Tarma Valley and in the vicinity of Ein Tarma town come in conjunction with clashes in Jobar neighborhood, where the regime forces are trying to end the presence of the factions in Jobar neighborhood, by turning around the west of Jobar neighborhood and forcing the factions to withdraw from the neighborhood, by advancing from Ein Tarma Valley and on AlMotahalik AlJanobi (the Southern Bypass). The regime forces are also seeking to tighten the siege on the Eastern Ghouta, which has been besieged since 2013.
