Children and female citizens victims of a new massacre in the capital of “al-Khair State” raise to 244 the death toll of civilians within 55 days of raids escalation on Al-Mayadeen

Within the escalation of aerial bombardment on the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, warplanes believed to belong to the International Coalition renewed the airstrikes on areas in Al-Mayadeen city, which is the capital of the “al-Khair State”, the activists of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the warplanes carry out airstrikes at 5:30 am on Saturday the 15th of July 2017, the airstrikes targeted houses of citizens near the female’s school in Al-Mayadeen city, where the shelling caused destruction to the property of citizens and killed 8 civilian citizens: 6 children under the age of eighteen and 2 women over the age of eighteen, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation and also because there are missing persons under the rubble, where the people and the rescue teams continue getting out the living and dead people trapped under the rubble.

And with this new massacre that took place in Al-Mayadeen city, it rose to 244 at least, the number of civilians persons who were killed in the bombardment of the International Coalition warplanes on Al-Mayadeen city since the start of bombing in the last third of May 2017, including 90 children under the age of eighteen and 73 citizen women, the casualties were: 48 civilian citizens including 22 children and 16 citizen women, and 42 prisoners who were killed by international coalition airstrike on Abu Abdullah Al-Nuaimi, who is a former leader in Nusra Front “Qaeda Organization in the Levant”, and who was executed by the “Islamic State” organization and took his house and turned it into a prison affiliated to the security services of the organization, which has been divided into main parts, one of them is for civilians and the other part is for the prisoners of the members of the organization, in addition to 154 families of the “Islamic State” organization including 68 children and 57 women who were killed in al-Dahmoush 4-story building near the government complex which is known by al-Saraya and al-Shaker café in al-Mayadeen city in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, and al-Dahmoush building is mostly inhabited by the families of the members of the organization.
