The Turkish Border Guards open fire at citizens try to cross towards Iskenderun

Idlib Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the Turkish border guards opened fire of their machine guns at civilians who tried to cross the border between the countryside of Idlib towards Iskenderun, leaving 6 persons killed; one of them is in serious condition, and information about causalities.

Where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published that it documented the death of 233 civilians including 36 children and 18 women, they were killed during attempts to cross into the Turkish lands since the beginning of 2016 until today the 13th of July, they were killed by the Turkish Jandarma border guards which targeted civilian children and women who are trying to find shelters escaping from the fate of more than 18000 children who have been killed since the beginning of the Syrian revolution and the fate of thousands of have been permanent disabilities, or as the fate of thousands of children who were forced into the military operations and were turned into fighters and detonators.

On the 12th of January 2016, The Turkish border guards killed the first civilian during an attempt to cross the borders from Hasakah, the borders also witnessed gun shots and opening fire by the Turkish border guards targeting civilians in Hasakah, Raqqa, Aleppo, Idlib, and Lattakia, and many of Syrian citizens have been killed and injured.
