More human losses raise to about 85, the number of civilian casualties and fighter who were killed in less than 72 hours of fighting in Idlib province

The rivalry between Tahrir al-Sham and Ahrar al-Sham is increasing and extending to the mountains intertwined between Idlib and Hama

 

The number of human losses continues to rise in the ongoing fighting since the night of the 18th of July 2017 between Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and Islamic Movement of Ahrar al-Sham, which are considered the largest operating factions in Idlib and the Syrian north. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented more human losses in the ranks of factions, especially in the fighting that took place in ​​Ram Hamdan area, which is the stronghold of Ahrar Al-Sham Islamic Movement, raising to 68, the number of members and fighters of Ahrar Al-Sham Islamic Movement and Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham who have been killed in executions, shootings and targeting and during clashes between both sides since the outbreak of the fighting at the night of the 18th of July 2017, it also rose to at least 15 persons they are 4 children and 7 civilians, including an activist, a man, a woman, a girl, another man and his child, in addition to other 4 persons were killed in the shelling, clashes and targeting between both parties since the beginning of their fight.

In the same context, violent clashes are taking place in Shashabo Mountain between Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham against Ahrar al-Sham Movement in areas in Shahshabu Mountain following a violent attack by the Hayyaat, in which it managed to control Tramla and Flifel village and advance to Kawkaba Tawilah village, amid the continued violent fighting in Kafrluseen, and the fighting in Flifel village resulted in the injury of a child and 2 women, while there is conflicting information about the convoy of the “Conflict Disengagement Forces” and its entry to Idlib province, while large military reinforcement were brought  to Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham in Sfohen in al-Zawiyah Mountain going towards Shahshabu Mountain to take part in the fight. 

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published that north of Idlib continues to experience the most violent clashes between the largest factions operating in Idlib and the north of Syria, where Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham desperately attacking Babsqa village and its mountain, which are under the control of Ahrar Al-Sham Movement, amid advancement by Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham in the village and its control over large parts of the village, in conjunction with withdrawals of members Ahrar Al-Sham Movement out of the area, and if Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham completely controls Babsqa village of and its mountain, it will be able to firearm-control the border crossing of Bab al-Hawa, of which violent clashes are taking place inside of it, amid shelling by Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham on the Blue Factory in the area, in addition to clashes in the areas of Sarmada and Kafrsolin village, in conjunction with exchange of shelling between both parties, while the pace of clashes declined in the areas of Rami Hamdan and Zradna in the northern countryside, following violent clashes that continued until the first hours of dawn between both parties, during which Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham managed to control the village of Zradna.

Pictures by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights show the “Disengagement Forces” convoy, which is composed of al-Sham Corps and Nur Al-Din Al-Zenki Movement during their presence in the western countryside of Aleppo, as a prelude to enter and separate the fighting and to be deployed on the contact lines between Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and Ahrar al-Sham Movement

Pictures by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights show the situation in Saraqeb town in the eastern countryside of Idlib, after the withdrawal of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham from the town, following protests and popular demonstrations which were met twice by fire shooting by members of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, which caused the death of an activist and the injury of others.
