Airstrikes target al-Mayadeen city for the third day on a row

As for the third raid, it targeted civilian houses near the city Garage. The raids destroyed 3 houses and caused material damages to the properties of the citizens. The SOHR documented the death of 6 civilians, including 3 children below the age of 18, and the injury of more than 10 civilians, with various degrees of severity. In addition, 5 more people got missing in the same shelling.
The SOHR published on the 15th of July 2017 that warplanes most likely affiliated with the International Coalition, shelled areas in Al-Mayadeen city, which is considered the capital of the “State of Benevolence”. The SOHR observed warplanes carrying out airstrikes at 5:30 am on Saturday, the 15th of July 2017, targeting civilian houses near the girls only school in Al-Mayadeen city. The shelling caused destruction to the citizens’ properties and the death of 8 civilians, including 6 children below the age of 18 and two female citizens above the age of 18.
