The International Coalition Forces form the Internal Security Forces in Al-Raqqah and oversee their training and arming

Reliable sources informed the SOHR that a batch of Al-Raqqah Province Internal Security Forces has graduated. Specifically, the SOHR learned that the International Coalition and its trainers oversaw and financed the preparation and training of around 260 volunteers from Al-Raqqah residents. Sources also confirmed that the International Coalition is responsible for arming and funding Al-Raqqah Internal Security Forces, who have received their training in Ein Isa in the northwestern countryside of Al-Raqqah.

 

It is worth mentioning that some of Al-Raqqah Internal Security Forces have been previously deployed to several areas, the control over which had been seized by the “Euphrates Wrath” Operation Forces in Al-Raqqah countryside. Sources also clarified to the SOHR that such forces which are currently receiving training, will be deployed to Al-Raqqah city and all SDF-controlled areas when the “Euphrates Wrath” Operation in the city and its countryside comes to an end upon expelling ISIS from there.
