After its closure as a result of the most violent clashes between Tahrir al-Sham and Ahrar al-Sham, Bab al-Hawa crossing resumes working and shipments are being transported from/to Iskenderun and Idlib

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned from several reliable sources that Bab al-Hawa border crossing between the Syrian territory and Iskenderun, which links Iskenderun and Idlib province, resumed working days after it was closed following the fighting between the Islamic Movement of Ahrar al-Sham and Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham in Idlib Province. The fighting was the most violent and the biggest between both parties and it was ended by an agreement reached between them included a cease-fire and releasing of the detainees from both parties. The agreement also included getting the factions out from Bab al-Hawa border crossing with Turkey, and handing the crossing over to a civilian administration to oversee its management. The reliable sources asserted that the border crossing has been opened for the travelers, transporters, and merchants to go and come through it, where the activists of the Syrian Observatory for Human rights monitored the entry of trucks carrying food supplies accompanied by other cars and vehicles.

It is noteworthy that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented 92 of fighters and civilians who were killed in this fight, they are: 77 members and fighters of the Islamic Movement of Ahrar Al-Sham and Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, all of them were killed in executions, shootings and targeting and during clashes between both sides since the outbreak of the fighting, and 15 civilians at least were also killed and they are 4 children and 7 civilians including an activist, a man, a woman, a girl, another man and his child, in addition to 4 other persons were killed in the shelling, clashes and targeting between both parties since the beginning of their fight.
