During their escape from its controlled areas in Al-Raqqah city… ISIS detonates a booby-trapped in a displaced people inside the city and SDF fighters try to secure them

Al-Raqqah Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: several reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that at least 4 children under the age of 18 were killed and 2 fighters also were killed of the Syria Democratic Forces, and other civilians and fighters were injured in Nazlat Shhada neighbourhood, which was mostly controlled by SDF, and the Syrian Observatory learned that the citizens and fighters were killed and injured by the detonating a booby trapped vehicle by the “Islamic State” organization, during the civilians’ displacement from areas controlled by ISIS, to areas controlled by the Syria Democratic Forces in the southern section of Nazlat Shhada neighborhood, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, it is worth mentioning that hundreds of families have displaced in the last weeks from areas controlled by the “Islamic State” organization, to areas controlled by the Syria Democratic Forces, while tens of thousands of civilians in Al-Raqqah city are still under the control of the organization, where they became between the anvil of the “Islamic State” organization and the Hammer of the International Coalition.

In the same context, a man was killed and his wife was injured by a mine explosion while they were trying to get out of Al-Raqqah city, to areas controlled by the Syria Democratic Forces, while areas in Al-Raqqah city were shelled by the “Euphrates Wrath” operation, in conjunction with shelling by warplanes believed to belong to the International Coalition, on areas controlled by the “Islamic State” organization in the city, also the clashes continue between the Syria Democratic forces supported by the US Special Forces against members of the “Islamic State” organization, in areas in the Nazlat Shhada neighbourhood, which is now mostly controlled by the Syria Democratic forces, amid clashes between both parties in al-Bareed neighborhood and in areas in the Old City, accompanied by exchange of targeting between both parties, also the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of at least 12 fighters of the Syria Democratic Forces, they were killed in the past few days, and some they were buried within the last 24 hours, they were killed in shelling, bombings and clashes against members of the “Islamic State “organization in Al-Raqqah city.
