Abu Odai Menagh announces defection from Jaysh al-Thowwar and attacks SDF

Jaysh al-Thowwar: Abu Odai Menagh has been suspended for more than a year ago for moral reasons.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights received a copy of a video showing a leader of Jaysh al-Thowwar and having the Syrian revolutionary flag and the Turkish flag in front of him, announcing his deviation saying: “I am the military leader, Abu Odai Menagh and my sons Abu Saleh and Abu Hejazi. I announce my defection from the so-called Jaysh al-Thowwar for the following reasons:

1 – Conspiracy between the leaders of the Syria Democratic Forces with the regime and Iran against the Syrian revolution and the Syrian people.

2 – The foreigners coming from Mount Qandil control the Syrians who are the people of the country.

3 – Military intelligence cooperation between the self-administrations in Afrin with the Iranian Revolutionary Guards stationed in Nubl and al-Zahraa, and the Battle of Ein Daqneh is a proof to this.

4 – The forced displacement of the Arab and the demographic change.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights received a copy of a statement issued by the General Command of Jaysh al-Thowwar affiliated to the Syria Democratic Forces in response to the statement of Abu Odai Menagh , in which it said: “Praise be to God who gifted us to see the video attributed to Abu Odai Menagh in which he defected from Jaysh al-Thowwar, given that Abu Odai is suspended from Jaysh al-Thowwar and this was announced in a statement issued by the General Commander and the military office of the Jaysh on 19/5/2016 for reasons related to a WhatsApp sexual call, indecent acts, drug abuse and others. We inform you that Abo Odai Menagh wasn’t assigned to any military work or civilian or political post during his presence in this Jaysh”.
