Warplanes raid ISIS oil tanks in Al-Mayadein dessert

Deir Ezzor Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the SOHR learned that warplanes carried out raids this morning on areas in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor. Raids targeted areas in Al-Tarif village and other places in Manjam Al-Malh area. No casualties have been reported so far. Meanwhile, unidentified warplanes, whether affiliated with the International Coalition is unknown, shelled last night ISISI oil tanks located on the road between Al-Rahba and Al-Shabli Farms in the dessert of Al-Mayadein city in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. The shelling caused material damages and set fire to the tanks. However, no casualties were reported.

The SOHR published yesterday morning that at least 70 ISIS members were killed when their convoy was targeted by warplanes in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor. Specifically, the SOHR learned from several reliable sources that Russian warplanes targeted on Friday, the 18th of August 2017, an ISIS convoy, which consisted of 20 vehicles, while traveling between their fronts in Deir Ezzor western dessert, Deir Ezzor countryside and the eastern countryside of Al-Raqqah. The intensive airstrikes left others injured, with varied degrees of severity, and destroyed most of the vehicles.
