Within 36 hours, warplanes carry out 2 airdrops into the “Islamic State” organization-held areas in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor

Reliable sources asserted to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the airdrop took place in the area of al-Boleel in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor at the dawn of Thursday the 24th of August 2017, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory, a warplane believed to belong to the International Coalition,  was flying at a very low altitude in the desert of al-Boleel town, about 25 kilometers from the town, and while some citizens were walking in the area, they saw a shaved hair believed to belong to 5 persons, where reliable sources asserted that all signs indicated that these warplanes landed to transfer members of the “Islamic State” organization, or persons important to the forces who carried out the airdrop.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday that it obtained information about carrying out an airdrop by forces believed to be related to the International Coalition in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, and in the details documented by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, warplanes believed to be related to the International Coalition targeted two houses in Layz neighborhood near the Euphrates River, in Beqres town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, and reliable sources confirmed to SOHR that the warplanes targeted two houses, which the organization use as a warehouse for weapons, followed by clashes between the airdrop’s forces and the members of ISIS who were in the two houses, the fate of the members who were in the warehouse is still unknown whether the airdrop’s forces managed to kill and injure them, or they arrested them, the sources confirmed to SOHR that the members who were in the warehouse were of non-Syrian nationalities.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 6th of April 2017, that airdrop mission took place on the administrative border between the provinces of Al-Raqqah and Deir Ezzor, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory; 2 helicopters belong to the International Coalition landed in al-Tebni desert at the extreme western countryside of Deir Ezzor, and from both helicopters disembarked fighters believed to be from a joint force from the fighters of the International Coalition and the Syria Democratic Forces, and they targeted a car carrying 4 members of the “Islamic State” organization (it is not known yet whether commanders were among them or not), where the 4 members of the organization were killed after the clashes that took place between both parties with light weapons, but the Syrian observatory did not receive information whether the force that carried out the airdrop mission had taken with it with the bodies of any of the killed members, followed by a state of alert in the area after the end of the airdrop mission.

Also US forces had participated with the Syria Democratic Forces and carried out an air parachute landing on the 22nd of March 2017 in Al-Krin area located 5 km west of Al-Tabaqa city, in conjunction with crossing of other forces of them for the Euphrates River on boats to Al-Krin area, reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the process of parachute landing and crossing the river aims to close the road of Al-Raqqah – Aleppo and the road of al-Tabaqa – al-Raqqah, and thus clamping more on the “Islamic State” organization in the cities of al-Raqqah and al-Tabaqa in addition to approaching Al-Tabaqa airbase, also the operation aims to prevent the regime forces from advancing towards al-Tabaqa in case they were able to control Maskanah town in the eastern country of Aleppo, and this operation is considered the first presence of the Syria Democratic Forces in addition to the US forces in the southern bank of the Euphrates River.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also obtained information from reliable sources which confirmed that an airdrop took place on the afternoon of the 8th of January 2017, in Al-Kubar area in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, and which is near Madan area east of Al-Raqqah, and in the details obtained by SOHR then, 4 helicopters, believed to be related to the International Coalition, and whose nationalities are not known until now, landed in the area which is located between the villages of Al-Kubar and Al-Jazrah in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, accompanied by two warplanes in order to protect and cover the place, where a car was carrying members of ISIS was targeted, which resulted in the deaths of all those who were in the car, and the members who landed from the helicopters held blocks on the road between Al-Kubar village and the nearby Water Station, and between it and Al-Jazrah village, and the sources confirmed to SOHR then that among the members who carried out the airdrop in Al-Kubar area there were members speak Arabic, and did not expose to citizens who passed through the area at that time of the airdrop, while the airdrop’s members attacked the Water Station which is near Al-Kubar village, where members of ISIS were killed and arrested, and all the dead bodies of organization were taken by the airdrop’s members during leaving the area, and the sources confirmed that the operation took place yesterday afternoon and lasted until 4 pm, and that the planes were seen coming from the north of Syria, the operation resulted in the killing of 25 members at least of ISIS in addition to capturing of other members of the organization.
