Renewed airstrikes target Deir Ezzor countryside and violent fighting result in a new advancement by regime forces east of Hama

Deir Ezzor Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: warplanes carried out a number of strikes which targeted places in Al-Kharita town which is located in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, the strikes caused material damage, without information about casualties, where the western desert of Deir Ezzor is witnessing shelling for days by warplanes which caused casualties and wounded

Hama Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that regime forces shelled areas in the vicinity of Murak town and other places in Al-Lataminah town, in the northern countryside of Hama, which caused material damage, in conjunction with shelling by regime forces on areas in Al-Janabrah village in the north-western countryside of Hama, without information about injuries, while sporadic clashes took place in the vicinity of Qubbat al-Kurdi area between regime forces and gunmen loyal to them on one hand, and the fighters of the faction on the other, accompanied by shelling by regime forces on Al-Tlul Al-Homr gardens in the south-eastern countryside of Hama.

On the other hand, clashes are continuing between regime forces supported by gunmen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities on one hand, and members of ISIS on the other, in areas in the eastern countryside of Hama, where regime forces managed to achieve advancement in the area and take the control of more areas and confirmed information about taking the control of more villages and areas which used to be controlled by the organization in the eastern countryside of Hama, in which regime forces are trying to take the control of more areas by dividing the besieged area in the eastern countryside of Hama, and forcing the “Islamic state” organization to withdraw to only one geographic area, aiming to end the presence of ISIS in the area.
