Regime forces aim to use the tactic of dividing, surrounding and besieging to end the presence of ISIS north of Hama

Hama Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: a child was killed as a result of falling missiles on areas in Salamiyah city, believed to be fired by ISIS, while clashes are still continuing between the regime forces supported by gunmen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities on one hand, and the members of the “Islamic state” organization on the other, in areas in the eastern countryside of Salamiyah city, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the regime forces achieved new advancement in the area in 5 new villages, within the continuous operations by regime forces to tear the eastern countryside of Hama apart, by advancing and controlling more areas and surrounding the largest number of villages, in an attempt to reduce the size of the clash areas, and to disperse the “Islamic State” organization, and by this advancement, the regime forces approached from Uqayribat Township as well as its approaching to besiege 6 villages in an area of about tens of square kilometers, in the eastern countryside of Hama, within the first besieged circle, in conjunction with intensive raids which were carried out by warplanes targeting areas in the villages of Uqayribat Township, amid intensive shelling by regime forces on the clash areas, and the controlled areas of the organization, without information about casualties.
