Regime forces advance more in the eastern countryside of Hama after they controlled Aqirabat town

Hama province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:: The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that violent clashes are taking place between the regime forces backed by their allied militiamen of Syrian, Palestinian and Iranian nationalities and with the participation of the Russian forces on one hand and members of the “Islamic State” organization on the other in areas in the eastern countryside of Salmiyah in the eastern countryside of Hama, amid heavy aerial and ground shelling. The Syrian Observatory learned that the regime forces managed to achieve new advancement and control two villages in the eastern countryside of Salmiyah near Aqirabat town, amid continued attempts by the regime forces to advance in the area at the expense of the organization, aimed at ending the presence of it in the eastern countryside of Hama and the entire province of Hama, and the clashes are also ongoing between both sides in the eastern countryside of Samliyah city, in an attempt by the regime forces to take control of the most important two villages, Hamada Omar and Suha, after controlling the town of Aqirabat, amid targeting on the clash areas.

The SOHR documented Sunday’s morning more causalities in the ranks of both sides in the eastern countryside of Salmiyah city in the eastern countryside of Hama where it rose to 120, the number of ISIS members who were killed and documented by the SOHR since Saturday’s morning the 3rd of September 2017, while it rose to at least 35, the number of the members of the regime forces and their allied militiamen who were killed in the same period, as a result of violent shelling, bombings, and the ongoing clashes in Aqirabat and east of Hama.
