Again, Turkish border guards open fire on citizens tried to cross the border, killing and injuring several of them

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented during the last hours of the night the Turkish border guards “Jandarma” targeting during the last hours of the night several citizens while they were trying to cross into Turkey from Syrian territory, which killed a 12-years-old child from Deir Ezzor city and injured others, and the Syrian Observatory for the Rights Human published on December 12th 2017 that during the past 24 hours, there has been an escalation in targeting of Syrian civilians as they try to cross the Syrian – Turkish border by the Turkish border guards (Jandarma), who have killed and injured hundreds of civilians in recent weeks and months, as the Turkish forces targeted those who are trying to cross the borders and the barbed wires, in addition to their torturing, beatings and insulting against civilians being arrested, amid Turkish allegations of “holding accountability those who involved in the torture and beating of refugees fleeing across the border”. The SOHR documented the death of more than 12 citizens from the provinces of Deir Ezzor, Idlib and Hama, who were killed during the past 24 hours after they have been targeted by the Turkish Jandarma on the border line, while these civilians were trying to cross into Iskenderun and the Turkish side of the border, they were shot. At least 2 of them were killed and other 10 were injured. This escalation comes days after the martyrdom of a child, who reliable sources confirmed that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that she is a daughter of a citizen from the city of Aleppo, who was killed about a year ago by a shelling by the regime forces on the city, which was restored by the regime forces at the end of 2016.

This Targeting by the Turkish border guards raised the death toll of citizens who were killed by their bullets while trying to cross the border ,and some of them were killed under the brutal torture of some members, raising to 311 at least, including 58 children and 31 citizen women, the number of people documented by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights since the start of the Syrian revolution until the 12th of September 2017, all of them were killed in the continued targeting by the Jandarma “Turkish border guards” for the Syrian citizens who escaped the military operation in their areas towards places in which they can find a safe haven the keeps them away of the death that is following them in their country Syria, in order for their children to have a better life and their fate doesn’t end up to be like the fate of more than 18500 children killed since the start of the Syrian revolution, or the fate of tens of thousands of other children who had permanent disabilities, or the fate of thousands of children who were dragged into the military operation and turned into fighters and bombers.
