Regime forces advance rapidly in the triangle of east Homs and clamp down on the organization in the last villages it controls

Homs province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the violent clashes continue in areas in the triangle of al-Shomariyyeh – Shaer – Jeb al-Jarrah, which is about 50 km east of Homs city, between the “Islamic state” organization against the regime forces supported by their loyal gunmen of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, amid new advancement by the regime forces and controlled 7 new villages within the triangle, with the help of intense air and rocket cover, and with this advancement the regime forces have significantly reduces the size of areas controlled by the organization.

The Syrian Observatory published yesterday that the regime forces managed to advance and control 4 villages at least in the triangle of Jub al-Jarah – al-Shomariyyeh – Jebel Sha’er, expanding their areas of control in the besieged circles in the eastern countryside of Homs linked to Uqayribat area in the eastern countryside of Hama.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 21st of September that it learned that the regime forces managed to advancement and control 2 new villages in the area, and confirmed information about casualties in the ranks of both parties, where the regime forces were able to achieve more advancement in the area after they were able yesterday and the day before yesterday to advance in the area, where they took control of 6 villages and areas in addition to heights in the eastern countryside of Homs and Hama.
