After their failed attack, regime forces suffer heavy losses in Jobar attack and lose tens of members

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that tens of members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them have been killed in the last 24 hours, after successive targeting by Rahman Corps for them in fronts located to the east of the capital Damascus and around it from the side of Ein Tarma and the western outskirts of the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of more than 52 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them who were killed in the explosions that were carried out by Rahman Corps, by detonating buildings and sites where members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them are located; east of Damascus and west of its eastern Ghouta, while other members have been seriously injured and some of them are still in serious condition, which may raise the death  toll.

These casualties and the explosions east of Damascus came after the regime forces and their loyal gunmen’s fail to advance on the contact lines with Rahman Corps, in Jobar neighborhood and Ein Tera Town and the AlMotahalik AlJanobi area that separate between them, where the regime forces carried out violent attack through a military operation they launched at the eastern outskirts of the capital Damascus on September 25th 2017, after about 10 weeks of starting a truce that didn’t complete in the Eastern Ghouta, after an agreement between Jaysh Al-Islam and the Russian, and the truce which was expected to be put in effect at nine P.M on Friday the 18th of August 2017, after an agreement between Al-Rahman Corps and the Russian forces, to apply a truce but it became a born-dead truce as a result of shelling by the regime forces at the time of starting to apply the truce, in which the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published then that anticipation of starting a new agreement in the Eastern Ghouta, signed between the Russians and representatives of Rahman Corps at 9 pm on Friday the 18th of August 2017, where sources of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights confirmed that Rahman Corps undertakes to disengage its connection and coalition with Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham in the Eastern Ghouta and east of the capital Damascus, also the agreement includes a ceasefire and entering humanitarian assistance and lift the siege of the Eastern Ghouta by the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, after the full commitment of all parties of the agreement, provided that a passage to be granted to Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham fighters and their families towards Idlib.
