More bodies of the victims of Armanaz massacre were recovered, rising their death toll to at least 34 including 15 children and women

Idlib province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the recovery of bodies still under the rubble are ongoing, the rubbles caused by targeting of warplanes on areas in the town of Armanaz in the northwestern countryside of Idlib on Saturday, the 29th of September 2017, where it rose to 34, including 8 children and 7 women, the number of martyrs who were killed by 2 separate airstrikes on the town in the same area, where the second airstrikes was carried out during the attempt to rescue the victims of the first airstrikes. The targeting also left tens of people injured and lost including children and women, and this is considered the largest massacre taking place in the province of Idlib since several months ago.

This brings to at least 203, including 57 children below the age of 18 and 47 women over the age of 18, the number of martyrs who were killed in airstrikes on the province of Idlib, Hama and Aleppo since the 19th of September 2017. The martyrs are 158 people, including 41 children and 38 women, who wre killed in airstrikes on towns and cities of Khan Shaykhon, Armanaz, Jisr al-Shoghour, al-Tamanah, Jerjenaz, Sahl Al-Rouj, and other areas in the countryside of Idlib, and  31 people, including 13 children and 7 women, who were killed in airstrikess on Qalat al-Madiq, al-Latamneh and the northern and northeastern countryside of Hama, and 14 people, including 3 children and 2 women, who were killed in airstrikes on the villages and towns of the western countryside of Aleppo, The Syrian Observatory also documented the injury of about 500 people with varying severity, some of whom suffered permanent disabilities, while others are still in serious conditions.

While the provinces of Idlib and Hama and Aleppo are witnessing state of calm since midnight of Friday – Saturday, as a result of the cessation of airstrikes of the Russia and the regime’s warplanes. This calm came after a series of more than 1500 airstrikes during 11 consecutive days, monitored by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, where these warplanes targeted the cities, towns and villages of al-Latamneh, Mork, al-Janabra (al-Bana), Tel-Hawash, Al-Mashek, Kafarzita, Arafa, Hazm, the vicinity of Ma’an, Atshan, Khafsin, Rabda, Umm Haratin, al-Rahjan, and Qalat al-Madiq in the northern and northeastern countryside of Hama, and the towns and the villages of Sahel al-Rouj, Saraqeb, al-Sheikh Sandyan, Badama, Eb al-Khazna, al- Yaqoubia, al-Sarminyah, al-Qanyah, al-Samnha, al-Ghasaniyah, Sarja, Sinjar, Maarzita, al-Fatira, Karsaa, al-Naqeer, Abu al-Duhur, Tel Mardikh, al-Tamanah, al-Habit, Sakik, Marahatat, Jirjinaz, al-Hamidiya, Telmans, Sinjar, Wadi al-Daif, Al-Sahriyah, Khan Shaykhon, al-Tah, Latmin, Kafrnubol, al-Bara, al-Kafir, al-Zayiniyah, Ein Zarka, al0Shughor, al-Nahr al-Abyad, Haloz, al-Alia, Sarmin, Taramla, Sarmin, al-Nayrab, Umm Al-Sayer, Kafromah, and the outskirts of  Jisr al-Shughur city, Ma’arashmareen, Bisnukul, Tiftinaz, Ta’um, Falion, Bara, Kafr Ruhein, Sinjar, Tabayaq, Bazabur, Idlib city, Ras Al-Hosn, Sarmada, Harem, Armanaz and other areas in Hama and Idlib.
