Russian airstrikes on Abu Al-Duhur military base kill at least 8 persons most of them are members of Hayaat Tahrir al-Sham

Idlib province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:: The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that at least 8 persons including 5 members of the Islamic police, which is affiliated to Hayaat Tahrir al-Sham, were killed in shelling by Russian warplanes on places in the area of Abu al-Duhur military base and an ice breaker affiliated to Hayaat Tahrir al-Sham inside the airport in the eastern countryside of Idlib, while the 3 other people are still unidentified, where the SOHR published today that successive explosions rocked the eastern countryside of Idlib this morning the 3rd of October 2017, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that these explosions were caused by 3 warplanes believed to be Russian which carried out more than 23 strikes simultaneously, targeted the area of Abu Al- Duhur Military Airbase, which is controlled by Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, and where fighters of the Islamic Party of Turkestan are located, and no information about casualties was reported yet.

These airstrikes comes 2 days after the aerial bombardment on Idlib province, after a state of silence prevailed the province of Idlib since the midnight of Friday – Saturday until the morning of yesterday Monday, while the SOHR documented the death of at least 208 civilians including 57 children below the age of 18 and 48 women over the age of 18 in airstrikes in the provinces of Idlib, Hama and Aleppo since the 19th of September.  where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the 19th of September 2017 the death of at least 208 casualties, including 57 children below the age of eighteen and 38 women over the age of eighteen, who were killed in air strikes on the province of Idlib, Hama and Aleppo. the martyrs are 136 people including 41 children and 39 women, who were killed in airstrikes on the cities and towns of Khan Shaykhon, Armanaz, Jisr al-Shoghour, al-Tamanah, Jirjinaz, Sahl al-Rouj, and other areas in the countryside of Idlin, and 31 people including 13 children and 7 women were killed in airstrikes on Qala’at al-Madiq, al-Latmnah and the northern and northeastern countryside of Hama, and 14 civilians including 3 children and 2 women were killed in airstrikes on villages and towns of the western countryside of Aleppo. the SOHR documented about 500 people killed with different severity, some of whom suffered permanent disabilities, others still seriously injured. The SOHR documented the death of at least 68 fighters of al-Sham Corps who were killed in targeting their headquarter in Tel Mardikh areas near Saraqeb in the eastern countryside of Idlib, while hundreds of members of Turkistan Islamic Party and Hayaat Tahrir al-Sham were killed in Russian aerial bombardment and the regime’s warplanes bombardment on positions and vehicles on the clash fronts during the battle of the “Last Attempt”, which resulted in violent clashes between the regime forces and their allied militiamen against Hayaat Tahrir al-Sham, Turkistan Islamic Party and the rebel and Islamic factions in areas in the far northeast countryside of Hama.
