“Jazeera Storm” Operation advance east of Euphrates River at the expense of the “Islamic State” organization

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that violent clashes are taking place between the Syria Democratic Forces and Deir Ezzor Military Council against members of the “Islamic State” organization in areas located in the vicinity of al-Jufrah oilfield east of Euphrates in the countryside of Deir Ezzor, In conjunction with clashes in the areas of al-Kasr and Hmar al-Ali, amid advancement for the Syria Democratic Forces and confirmed information about their control Hmar al-Kasra village and Hmar al-Ali, while the clashes are accompanied by exchange of shelling between both parties and targeting in the clash areas, and information about casualties in their ranks.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published at the end of September 2017 that the forces of “Al-Jazeera Storm” operation managed to impose full control on Al-Sor town in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor, on the road between Deir Ezzor city and Al-Hasakah countryside, while the Syria Democratic Forces start to comb the town, amid violent clashes between them and the members of the “Islamic State” organization, in the vicinity of the town, following counter attacks are being carried by the organization in an attempt  to retake the control on the town which they lost after years of controlling it.
