Violent fighting between the regime forces and Al-Rahman Corps in the east of Damascus and its Eastern Ghouta

The violent clashes have been continuing since the afternoon of Monday, between the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them against the fighters of Al-Rahman Corps, in areas in the vicinity of Al-Motahalik Al-Janobi (the Southern Bypass) from the sides of Jobar and Ein Tarma, in the east of the capital Damascus, and the outskirts of the Eastern Ghouta, and the clashes were accompanied by intensive shelling by the regime forces on the clash areas, while the regime forces are trying to achieve advancement in the area at the expense of the factions, and no information about casualties was reported, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago, that the regime forces shelled Kafrbatna town in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, causing the death of a woman and her child, where the shelling on the town took place at the same time the children were getting out of school, while this shelling in Kafrbatna came after the warplanes also bombed areas in the outskirts of Hazza town, which resulted in the death of a woman and her granddaughter, as well as the injury of others. Warplanes also launched two air strikes on areas in Hosh al-Dawahra town and other places in Harzama town in al-Marj area, without information about human losses, and the regime forces also shelled the outskirts of the Eastern Ghouta from Jouber side by 5 missiles believed to be ground-to-ground, and more than 10 artillery and missile shells in conjunction with targeting areas in the outskirts of Ein Tarma and the vicinity of al-Motahliq al-Janoubi from Damascus side, while the regime forces targeted Misraba, Douma and Beit Sawa and injured a man and a child in Douma, and injured a woman and her child in Beit Sawa town.
