The SDF enter the biggest oilfield in Syria after ISIS carried out an attack on the regime forces in the vicinity of the field and kept them away of it

A number of reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the Syria Democratic Forces supported by the US Special Forces, managed to achieve strategic advancement in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, in which they managed to enter Al-Omar oilfield, which is the biggest oilfield in Syria, this achievement came after the “Islamic State” organization managed last night to expel the regime forces from the eastern banks of the Euphrates River opposite Al-Mayadin city, where the organization forced them to withdraw, by carrying out a counter attack on the area, then the SDF started an attack to take the control of the oilfield which the regime forces had reached its outskirts.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also learned that this advancement of the SDF took place by advancing towards the field from several areas, in which these forces managed during the last night to take the control of Al-Sayjan field which is located in the north of Al-Omar oilfield, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on Saturday the 21st of October 2017, that members were able to advance in the aforementioned areas and forced the regime forces to withdraw from parts of the towns of Ziban and Khasham, and the clashes are accompanied by aerial and rocket shelling and violent explosions that shook the clash areas, which kill and injuries members of both parties, and the regime forces led by Russian forces and supported by the loyalist gunmen of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities; have managed to control the entire city of Al-Mayadin on the 15th of October, which is located at the western banks of the Euphrates River, in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor .

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also published on Saturday the 10th of October 2017, that The “Islamic State” organization did not miss an opportunity to strike the regime forces hard, which weakens and exhausts them, but the organization’s strikes are met by successive strikes by the Syria Democratic Forces which lead “Al-Jazeera Storm” operation in the east of the Euphrates River, and this fighting is taking place on the eastern and the western banks of the Euphrates River, in which these ambushes and counter attacks which carried out by the “Islamic State” organization against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, were met at the same time, by successive withdrawals by ISIS in the fronts with the Syria Democratic Forces.
