The fighting is renewed in areas in Yarmouk camp between the factions against ISIS

Damascus province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:: renewed clashes took place between ISIS against Hayaat Tahrir Al-Sham in the area of the Japanese Hospital in Yarmouk camp south of the capital Damascus, and there is information about human losses in the ranks of both parties, and the regime forces opened their heavy machine guns on areas in ISIS-held neighborhoods in the camp last night.

The Syrian Observatory published day before yesterday that calm prevails in areas of the fighting in the outskirts of Yarmouk camps and other areas from the side of southern Rif Dimashq, following violent clashes between Hayaat Tahrir Al-Sham and the Islamic factions against ISIS that lasted for four days continuously, following an attack carried out by ISIS members on the area, through which they managed to advance and control points there, and in these clashes, members of both parties were killed, while the crossing of linking between Yalda and Al-Yarmouk Camp is still closed for the 8th day on a raw, amid civil calls to re-open it due to the deteriorating situation of the people of the camp, which is mostly controlled by ISIS, as the people are suffering shortage in medicine and food following the closure of the only crossing.

while the Syrian Observatory published on the 23rd of October  that it the violent clashes are still continuing between fighters of the Islamic factions of Aknaf Bait al-Maqdis, Sham Al-Rassol Brigade and other fighters, against the “Islamic State” organization, and the violent clashes are concentrated for more than 72 hours in the outskirts of Yarmouk Camp from the side of the south of Rif Dimashq, in which the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that members of the organization managed to take the control of the Japanese Hospital and other points in the area.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 20th of October 2017 that  the “Islamic State” organization was able to advance in the area at the expense of the factions, and took control of a school and a dispensary in the Yarmouk Camp in the vicinity of Yalda area south of Rif Dimashq, and the clashes were accompanied by exchange of targeting between members of the organization against the factions of Aknaf Bayt al-Maqdes and Sham al-Rasul Brigade, it is noteworthy that Aknaf Bayt al-Maqdes was one of the factions which signed about 8 days ago a ceasefire announcement south of the capital Damascus, which was carried out with a Russian guarantee and an Egyptian supervision.
