Massacre kill 6 civilians including a child and a woman in aerial bombardment on the stronghold of Jaysh Al-Islam

Rif Dimashq province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:: the death toll are still increasing in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, as a result of the bombardment of warplanes, on an area near Douma Grand Mosque, who were killed in a massacre in the city considred to be the stronghold of Jaysh Al-Islam, where the SOHR documented the increase of death toll to at least 6 people including a child a women, who were killed in airstrikes on areas in Douma city in the Eastern Ghouta, where the death toll is expected to increase because of the presence of injured people in critical conditions.

These airstrikes came within the renewed airstrikes on the Eastern Ghouta after the shelling was resumed in late September, two week after the absence of aerial shelling.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 26th of September that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the number of people who were killed as a result of the bombing which targeted Douma city which is controlled by Jaysh Al-Islam in the Eastern Ghouta, has increased to 4 persons at least, while the death toll is still likely to rise because of the presence of serious injuries, they are the first casualties to be killed by air strikes since the end of July 2017, in which these raids come after two months of being the warplanes away from the sky of the Eastern Ghouta, and the raids has stopped since the end of July 2017, on the cities and the towns of the Eastern Ghouta, after killing and injuring tens of citizens by raids by the warplanes on Arbin and the cities and the towns of the Eastern Ghouta, which followed an agreement to decrease the escalation which didn’t last because of the consecutive violations to the agreement which carried out between Russia and representatives of the factions in the Eastern Ghouta, in the 22nd of September 2017.
