South of Aleppo witnesses continued violent clashes and the counterattacks begins

Aleppo Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the clashes continue between the regime forces and the gunmen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities against fighters of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham and the rebel and Islamic factions, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the factions were able to carry out counterattacks through which they achieved advancement in the area, after the regime forces’ advancement and controlling 3 villages a few hours ago, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago that the southern countryside of Aleppo had been witnessing ongoing violent fighting since Thursday the 22 of October 2017, as a result of a violent attack by the regime forces backed by armed militiamen loyal to them of Syrian, Arab and Asian nationalities, on the controlled areas of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the rebel and Islamic factions, in the south-west of Khanasir town in the southern countryside of Aleppo, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the regime forces which prepared for their operations by rounds of sporadic shelling as well aerial raids, managed today in first round of their attack, to re-hold their control over 3 villages in the southern countryside of Aleppo; they are Jib Awad, Hejara Kabira and Hejara Saghira, amid the continuation of their operations in order to achieve more advancement in the area and take the control of more positions, as a part of their operation during which they are seeking to reach the eastern countryside of Idlib, and take the control of important military positions, enable the regime forces to hold their presence in the province.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published today, that areas in the Western Hajjar village in Mount al-Hass in the southern countryside of Aleppo, were shelled by the regime forces, which caused material damage, without information about casualties, and the shelling came after intensive raids that targeted areas in the southern countryside of Aleppo during the past hours, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published this morning, that the warplanes carried out 11 raids at least, on areas in the villages of Sayyalah, Hejarah and Al-Howaywi in Mount al-Hass, in the northern countryside of Aleppo, and no information about casualties was reported.
