For the 17th consecutive days and away of media…fierce clashes and intensive bombardment and collective displacement in the north-eastern countryside of Hama

The attack on the north-eastern countryside of Hama does not almost end, to be followed by another one, as a part of fierce clashes, during which the regime forces are trying to impose their control on new areas, at the expense of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the factions, as the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored this morning the 7th of November 2017, that the fierce fighting renewed between the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them against Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and rebel and Islamic factions, and the clashes concentrated in areas in the north-eastern countryside of Hama, as a result of the start of a new attack by the regime forces targeted positions of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, in which he regime forces managed to achieve advancement in the area and to regain the control of positions in the vicinity of Talat Khuzaim and other positions in the area, while the violent explosions has rocked Hama countryside since this dawn, as a result of the violent artillery and rocket shelling, by the regime forces on the clash areas and the controlled areas of the factions, in conjunction with carrying out intensive air strikes by warplanes targeted the same areas, and resulted in the fall of confirmed casualties.

 

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored last night the flight of a squadron of warplanes over the north-eastern countryside of Hama, in which the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the alternation of 6 warplanes to carry out intensive raids, on places in the villages of Al-Hamra Township and Al-Rahjan village – the hometown of the Minister of Defense of the regime Fahd Jassem al-Freij, in conjunction with there targeting to the clash areas, between the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them against Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the rebel and Islamic factions, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also monitored last night that Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham managed to regain the control of the enter Sarha village few hours after the regime forces took the control of it, as well as regaining the control of the villages of Tal Khuzaim, Umm Turaykiyah and Al-Boleel, which were controlled by the regime forces.

 

Also the displacement of the citizens from the villages of the north-eastern countryside of Hama is still continuing, as a result of the intensive aerial raids and the violent artillery shelling as well as the fierce clashes between the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them against Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the rebel and Islamic factions, in which the number of the displaced people exceeded 42 thousand displaced people, of who headed to safe areas far from the clashes and shelling, while these clashes are still continuing , in which it started on the 24th of October 2017, preceded by two consecutive days of preparation, since the 22nd of October 2017, by the regime forces, through heavy shelling of tens of missiles and shells, and bombardment by warplanes and tens of air strikes on the areas controlled by ISIS, located between the areas controlled by the regime forces and the areas controlled by Tahrir Al-Sham, and the regime forces managed to infiltrate to the areas controlled by ISIS, and reach Jub Abyad area and began on the 24th of October their fight against Tahrir Al-Sham, where hit-and-run battles and ex exchange of control operations and counter attacks took place between both parties, these battles coincided with hundreds of air strikes on Tahrir Al-Sham-held areas, where there was at least 570 air strikes on villages and areas controlled by the factions and Tahrir Al-Sham, and the clashes caused a great number of human losses in the ranks of the regime forces, the factions and Tahrir Al-Sham, where at least 134 members and fighters were killed, including at least 57 members of the regime forces and their allied militiamen, and tens of both parties were injured with different degrees of severity.
