Regime forces supported by heavy shelling and their loyal gunmen advance and control 8 villages, residential complexes and hills in the northeastern countryside of Hama

Hama Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: areas in the northern countryside of Hama witnessed the renew of shelling on its areas, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the helicopters dropping barrel bombs on areas in Zakat village and other places in al-Lataminah town and in other areas in its surroundings, amid intensive shelling by the regime forces on areas in the town, and no information about casualties, while fronts of the northern countryside of Hama is witnessing calm in terms of clashes between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the rebel and Islamic factions and Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the regime forces advancing more  in the area and controlling a new village, rising to 8, the number of villages, residential gatherings and hills controlled by the regime forces in the past 48 hours, which are Douma, Rabiah, al-Hazm, Qasr Shawi, al-Kikah, Muwaileh Shmali, and the Hills of Qasr Shawi and Mahsar, and this advancement came after a violent attack by the regime forces supported by artillery, rocket and aerial shelling, which targeted areas controlled by the factions and Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, and confirmed information about casualties in the ranks of both parties.

It should be noted that the clashes in the northeastern countryside have caused the displacement of more than 40000 civilians from their villages, because of the continued clashes in between the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them against the fighters of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham and the factions, in areas in the northeastern countryside of Hama since the clashes began on the 24th of October 2017.
