With the continuation of clashes east of Deir Ezzor, members of Deir Ezzor Military Council execute 3 members of the organization in the first direct retaliation for the execution of about a thousand people from the Sh’aytat Clan

Deir Ezzor province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the clashes continue in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor between members of the “Islamic State” organization against the Syria Democratic Forces supported by the International Coalition, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the clashes concentrate at the outskirts of the villages of Swidan Jazira and al-Jerzy Al-Gharbi, in an attempt to achieve more advancement in the area by the Syria Democratic Forces, who lead the “Jazeera Storm” Operation which was started on the first third of September 2017, and the clashes are accompanied by exchange of targeting between both parties.

In the same context, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights received a copy of a video and photos show members from the eastern country of Deir Ezzor with 3 prisoners, intersected sources said that the 3 were members of the “Islamic State” organization on one of the fronts in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, where members of Deir Ezzor Military Council of the Syria Democratic Forces executed the 3 prisoners, after beating and insulting them chanting “the blood of Sh’aytat is precious”, where they shot them dead. This is considered the first direct retaliation by members from the Sh’aytat Clan for the massacres committed against about 1000 citizens of this clan, where the organization executed them in the past years in the countryside of Deir Ezzor, and the Syrian Observatory published yesterday that the SOHR learned that a state of anger prevails in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor among the displaced and the people living in areas controlled by “Al-Jazeera Storm” Operation Forces, and this state of anger comes after accusations of stealing money and jewelry belong to the citizens on the checkpoints of the forces of the Military Council of Deir Ezzor, operating under the umbrella of the SDF. The displaced and the people also accused them of stealing their houses and electronic devices they have. The people called for holding the perpetrators accountable for their acts and returning their belongings to them, and not repeating these acts against the displaced and homeless people of Deir Ezzor province.
