The death and injury of 65 people today raises to 180 the number of killed and injured people in 5 days of targeting Damascus and its suburbs with shells

Damascus province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that 2 players of a sports team of martial arts were killed and more than 12 others were injured in the fall of shells on al-Fayha’a Sports Hall area, raising to 9, the number of persons who were killed today in the capital and in Rif Dimashq, due to the fall of shells on Bab Touma, Al-Mujtahid, Khaled Bin Al-Waleed Street, Jaramana Suburb and al-Fayha’a, while 55 others were injured in the fall of these shells, also the shells targeted today places in the areas of Zablatani and the Old Damascus and places in al-Mazra’a area where the Russian Embassy is located, and Arnous Square, al-Dwila area and other areas near AlMotahalik AlJanobi.

Thus, the number of casualties who were killed by the fall of shells since Thursday the 16th of November 2017, has increased to 25 persons at least, while the number of wounded who were injured during the same period, has increased to 155 persons at least including children and citizen women, and the shells targeted during the past days, places in Dwel’aa area and on places in al-Swiqa area, the areas of al-Fahhama and Khalid Bin al-Walid Street, other areas in the Old Damascus, Al-Zablatani area, Al-Abbasiyyin area, Al-Swiqa neighborhood, Sabea Bahrat area, Esh Al-Warwar neighborhood, al-Fayha’a  and al-Mujtahid and other areas in  the Old Damascus and Dahiyat al-Assad as well as other places in the middle of the capital.
