The regime forces besiege ISIS in its last pocket in the west of the Euphrates River and a mystery surrounding the destiny of the members of the organization who were in the pocket in the east of Al-Mayadin

Few hours after the regime forces took the control of Al-Asharah town, they and the armed militiamen loyal to them of Syrian, Iraqi, Lebanese and Asian nationalities imposed their control over the pocket which is located in the east of Al-Mayadin city, and where the “Islamic State” organization is still located in, in which the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the regime forces managed to imposed their control over Al-Quriyah town in the west of the Euphrates River, in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

This advancement enabled the regime forces to besiege the organization in its last pockets, including Hasarat town and Al-Siyyal area in the west of Al-Bokamal city, on the western bank of the Euphrates River, and if the regime forces manage to advance and take the control of this pocket, then they will end the presence of the organization in the west of the Euphrates River completely, while the destiny of ISIS members who were in the pocket of the east of Al-Mayadin city, is still unknown until now, also the area where they withdrew to is still unknown until now, in which the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored during the past week, that it monitored the arrival of hundreds of the members of the “Islamic State” organization heavily armed with equipment and supplies of heavy vehicles and heavy and light weapons in the north-eastern countryside of Hama during the past 5 days, and sources reported that they came from the Syrian Desert that is controlled by the regime forces, and which these forces carried out wide attack on the positions of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham in the area immediately after their arrival, as a result, clashes have been taking place since about a week, enabled the organization to achieve successive advancement and take the control of more than 20 villages and residential communities during the period between the 21st of November 2017, to 26th of November 2017, they are: Abu Hreik, Abul Kusour, Maasaran, Atshana, Ibbin, Jib Zureiq, Suruj, Shihat, Alya, Abu Marrw, Abu Khanadiq, Al-Wastiyyah, Al-Samiriyya, Rasm Al-Skaf, Janat al-Sawarnah, Tuwal Dabaghin, Jadida, Abu Ajwa, Anbaz, Talhan and other points and positions in the area.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday that the violent clashes between both parties have raised the number of casualties in their ranks whop were documented by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, within the battle of Bokamal and after it which began on Thursday the 16th of November 2017, in which the regime forces and their allied are seeking to end the presence of ISIS in the entire are extended on the western banks of the Euphrates River in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, after they managed with members of the Lebanese Hezbollah, the Revolutionary Iranian Guards, the Afghan Liwa Fatemiyoun, Al-Nujaba’ Iraqi Movement, the Iraqi Hezbollah and militiamen of Palestinian and Syrian nationalities, to hold their control over Al-Bokamal city on the 20th of November 2017, and the number of casualties of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them of Syrian, Lebanese, Iraqi, Iranian, Afghan and Palestinian nationalities of who were killed in Al-Bokamal city and its vicinity and countryside, has increased to 194 members at least, including 78 Syrian members, and 15 members of the Lebanese Hezbollah, while the rest members are of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces as well as , Iraqi, Iranian and Afghan members, and the total death toll includes 30 members of who were killed in clashes in the vicinity and the countryside of Al-Bokamal, during the past 10 days, and the number of the casualties of the “Islamic State” organization who were killed in these clashes during the same period, has increased to 184 members at least, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the injury of tens of them with varying degrees of severity, which may raise the death toll, also it is noteworthy that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on Sunday the 19th of November 2017, that it monitored that the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them of Syrian nationality, the Lebanese Hezbollah, the Iraqi Nujabaa Movement and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard start sweeping al-Bokamal city which they managed to control after the withdrawal of the remaining members of the “Islamic State” organization from the last city they used to control in Syria, this control came after violent clashes that killed and injured tens of both parties during the past 3 days, where the regime forces were able to enter the city on Thursday the 16th of November 2017; after the organization’s expel of the Popular Mobilization Forces, Hezbollah and the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, by counterattacks that targeted them inside the city, and the “Islamic State” organization resists fiercely, during its attempts to repel the advancement of the regime forces in the two pockets that are under its control, and although the warplanes affiliated to the regime and Russia carried out intensive strikes during the past 24 hours, and previously, the organization still shows desperate effort in al-Quriyah area and the vicinity of al-Asharah, which are located in the pocket in the east of Al-Mayadin, to repel the attempts of the regime forces to advance an take the control of them and expel the organization from them, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the organization refuses any negotiations lead to its withdrawal from the area, and it prefers to fight till the end.
