Fighting continues in the east of the Euphrates River and the SDF seek to minimize ISIS scope of control and end its presence in the banks of the river

Deir Ezzor Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the fighting is still continuing between the Syria Democratic Forces supported by warplanes affiliated to the International Coalition and Russia against the “Islamic State” organization in areas in the east of the Euphrates River, in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, in which the combat operations are concentrated in areas in Abu Hardoub villages and its outskirts near the areas of Abu Hamam, al-Kashkiyyeh and Al-Jerthi, in an attempt by the forces of “Al-Jazeera Storm” Operation to achieve advancement in the area, take the control of more villages and end presence of the organization from the east of the Euphrates River, amid exchange of targeting between the both parties, and the flight of the International Coalition warplanes over the area, and information about more casualties in the ranks of the both parties, while the regime forces shelled areas in Hajin town and Al-Bahra village east of the river in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, and information was reported about the fall of casualties and wounded.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored yesterday a massacre that was committed by the International Coalition warplanes which targeted areas al-Jerthi village at the east bank of the Euphrates River, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory: the warplanes targeted places in the village after this midnight just before the control of SDF of it, and the airstrike caused of a massacre of 23 people of one family including 8 children under the age of eighteen, 6 citizen women over the age of eighteen, the casualties are displaced from Sbikhan town to the village of Eastern al-Jerthi, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, and due to information about other casualties, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday that the Syria Democratic Forces managed to control the Eastern and Western Jerthi and Swidan Jazira in the past 24 hours.
