More than 70 days after the Russian allegation of killing him and denying that by the Observatory, warplanes kill the commander of Jaysh al-Osr Salah al-Din al-Shishani in the countryside of Hama

Hama Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: warplanes continue their intensive bombing of areas in the northern countryside, where they carried out this evening intense airstrikes on places in the towns and villages of al-Lataminah, KafrZitta, the vicinity of Al-Zallaqiyyat, Zellin and other places in the area, also the heavy rocket shelling targets the mentioned areas, amid calm on the clash areas after regime’s control of all the sites they lost today to the rebel and Islamic factions, which caused casualties in the ranks of both parties, where at least 6 fighters of the rebel and Islamic factions were killed including 2 members of Asian nationalities, and also several members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed and injured.

Reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the Chechen leader, Salah al-Din al-Shishani, was one of those who were killed today in the airstrikes on the northern countryside of Hama, where fighters of his army have fought together with Jaysh al-Izza, and this was the first day they took part in clash against the regime forces in the countryside of Hama, reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory on the 7th of October 2017 that Salah al-Din al-Shishani  “Amir Jaysh Al-Osr”, is still alive, and didn’t injured in the raids of the warplanes on Idlib, and the sources denied the Russian claims of killing him, and confirmed that he is still in the ranks of his army which he declared about previously, months ago, after he was the commander of Jaysh al-Mouhajrin and al-Ansar, in which the SOHR published in the middle of November 2014, that Jabhat al-Nusra, al-Muhajren wa al-Ansar, and Islamic battalions have agreed in a meeting to send the leader of al-Mouhajrin wa al-Ansar to al-Raqqa city to talk to leaders in the IS, in order to reach a formula for a case-fire between the two sides, and focus on fighting the regime on all the fronts, without the using of each other’s lands.

The sources also informed SOHR that the leader of al-Mouhajrin wa al-Ansar army met with the deputy of the ” war minister ” in the IS, the deputy informed the leader that the IS refused this formula because ” some of these battalions are allied to the west even if they are Muslims, they have fought the IS to satisfy the west ” and he asked the leader to pledge allegiance to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, but the leader refused saying :: ” I pledged allegiance to the Amir of al-Quqaz state and I cannot go back “. The two sides failed to reach an agreement in this round of talks, and the leader of al-Mouhajrin Wa al-Ansar army went back to fight against regime forces in Aleppo fronts.

The Syrian Observatory published today that the pace of violence in the northern countryside of Hama declined between the rebel and Islamic factions against the regime forces and their allied militiamen, where the SOHR monitored the regime forces retake control the village of Al-Zallaqiyyat and positions they lost in the attack carried out by the factions at Sunday noon the 17th of December, 2017, through which they managed to control points of the regime forces and Al-Zallaqiyyat village and seize weapons and ammunitions and captive about 5 members of the regime forces and their allied militiamen.

The control operation coincided with heavy airstrikes of warplanes and helicopters, that targeted Al-Lataminah, KafrZitta, Morek, Al-Zallaqiyyat, and Zellin vicinity, Tel Aas, Khan Shaykhun with more than 60 air raids, causing damage and death of 10 children and women and burn injury of others, as a result of fire caused by the bombs dropped on Khan Shaykhun. The clashes also were accompanied by clashes in the past hours, and violent and heavy shelling by the regime forces on the clash areas, while 5 fighters of the factions were killed, there are confirmed information about people killed and injured in the ranks of the regime forces and their allied militiamen.

Sources of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights suggested that that attack aims to achieve an advancement and hold the control of this advancement; in order to keep the regime forces busy and stop their advancement in the northeastern countryside of Hama and in the southeastern countryside of Idlib, after the regime forces were able to control tens of villages and areas in both countryside, they are: al-Hawiyyah, al-Syriatel Hill, Al-Shatib, Al-Zafriyyah, Al-Blil, Um Khazim, Um Trikiyyeh, Rajm al-Ahmar, Al-Musayfirah, Bolas Hill, Al-Shahatiyyah, Al-Mestriha, Jub Abyad, Rasm Abu Mayyal, Rasm Al-Sawwan, Rasm Al-Sawi, Rasm Al-Ahmar, Rasm Al-Tina, Abu Laffah, Al-Mshirfah, Jwi’eid, Hasrat, Khirbat Al-Rahjan, Hasnawi, Mweileh Shamali, Qasr Ali , Qasr Shawi, Tal Mahsar, Al-Rabiaa, Duma, Rabda, Hazem, Arafa, Mrijeb al-Jamlan, Al-Khefyeh, Sham Al Hawa, Al Rahraha, Sarha, Abu Al-Gher and Baghidid.
