Missile and artillery shelling target Jisr Al-Shughour and its countryside leaving causalities and missiles target the countryside of Lattakia

Idlib province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: areas in the outskirts of Jisr Al-Shughour city were shelled by the regime forces, which caused material damage, following artillery and missile ​ shelling by the regime forces on areas in Bidama town and Al-Z’einiyyeh village and the outskirts of Mar’and village in the western countryside of Jisr ​Al-Shughour in the western part of Idlib province, which caused material damage, and resulted in death of leader of Al-Rahman Corps in Lattakia area and there is information about other injured people.

Lattakia province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: sounds of explosions were heard in areas in the southern and southwestern countryside of Lattakia, and sources said that were resulted by fall of missiles on areas in both countryside, and no information about human losses.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 27th of December 2017 that two explosions rocked the countryside of Jabal area located in the southern countryside of Lattakia, and the SOHR learned from several reliable sources that the explosions resulted from at least two missiles attacks that targeted the Russian base in Hmeimim airport, located west of Jableh city, which the Russian President visited two week ago, and there is no information about causalities so far. The targeting came in conjunction with heavy missile shelling by the factions on the regime-held positions and areas in the northern mountains of Lattakia, where the factions targeted areas in Kurds Mountain areas and Shalf Citadel, and Abu Ali Hill, and so far there is no information about human losses in the ranks of the regime forces and their allied militiamen.
