The regime forces continue their offensive to break the siege of the Vehicle Department in the Eastern Ghouta, about 125 were killed of both parties in a week of clashes there

Rif Dimashq Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Clashes continue in areas in the vicinity of the Vehicle Department and in the vicinity of Harasta city, between Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, the Islamic movement of Ahrar Al-Sham and Rahman Corps against the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, in a continuous attempt by the regime forces to advance from the Criminal Security area to the Governorate Building area, and break the siege of the Vehicle Department in which tens of members of the regime forces are trapped inside the building. The clashes are accompanied by continuous rocket shelling by the regime forces targeting the clash areas, in addition to targeting Harasta city by more than 25 shells and missiles this evening, which killed one person and injured 4 others.

The clashes which are accompanied by an almost-non-stop-shelling have claimed more lives of the rebel and Islamic factions, where it rose to 76, the number of members of Rahman Corps, Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham and Ahrar al-Sham, who were killed between Friday the 29th of December 2017 until the evening of Thursday the 4th of 2018, they were killed as a result of the violent shelling and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, In addition to information about other fighters killed in the shelling and clashes, also, the Syrian Observatory had documented the death of at least 48 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, including at least 6 officers 4 of them are Brigadiers, who were killed in the shelling and clashes in the Eastern Ghouta.
