The regime forces restore control of 26 towns and villages within 24 hours of advancement and expand their areas of control in the southern countryside of Aleppo to 60 villages at least within 4 consecutive days

Aleppo  province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:: the clashes are still ongoing and the regime forces are still advancing in the southern countryside of Aleppo, where they are still controlling areas, in conjunction with the withdrawal of Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham consecutively from the villages, as a result of ongoing shelling by the regime forces on the area, and the SOHR managed to advance in the southern countryside of Aleppo and control about 11 villages and towns, most prominent of which is Tel Al-Daman located on the road between Khanaser town and areas south of Aleppo city, where the advancement of these forces tighten the noose around Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham in the area, which is not under the regime’s control in the southern countryside of Aleppo, which may lead the regime forces to control the whole countryside if the operation continue as it is.

The SOHR monitored the regime forces hours ago controlling about 11 villages and towns rising to 33, the number of villages and towns controlled by the regime forces within the past 24 hours, rising to at least 60, the number of villages and areas controlled by the regime forces since the 10th of January, and they are: Tel Al-Daman, Shawihab Al-Lahab, Tel Al-Sheeh, Tel Ahmar, Maza’a, Al-Shiekh Citadel, Tel Hawasid, A’bod, Umm Amoud, HAnota, Maktaba, Al-Safa, Talil Al-Safa, Kafr Kar, Umm Jaran, Al-Zer’a, Burj Al-Ruman, Hafrat Al-Has, Abu Ghetta, Jub Jasem, Kafr Ibish, Bluza, Ayoubiyyah, Qiqan, Mintar, Om Ankash, al-Salhiya, Burj Hussain Dahir, Tal Sawma’a, Jub Atnash Foqani, Jub Atnash Tahtani, Sahhur, al-Hardana, al-Asdiyah, Rasm al-Amish, Hawir al-Hess, al-Bannawi, Jub al-A’ama, al-Amiriya, Abu Jlous, Burj al-Sama, Tal Anbar, Abu Abdu, Alaf, Om Gharraf, Om Ghabr, Sbyha, Eytah, Om Sanabel, Om Khan, Om al-Amad Qebli, Hwarin, Ramleh, Mzi’eleh, Nawwarah, Rasm al-Sheikh, Tal al-Sabha, Tal Abu Rwayl and Abu Rwayl cemetery.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published today that the advancement in the southern countryside of Aleppo towards the eastern countryside of Idlib and Abu Al-Duhur Military Airbase, reduced the distance between the advanced forces and the other forces located in the eastern countryside of Idlib, and a distance of only 6 kilometers still separates between the both forces, while these military operations in the area resulted in the displacement of tens of thousands of citizens from their villages and houses towards areas far from the shelling in the western countryside of Aleppo, and if the regime forces manage to reach their forces located in the vicinity of Abu Al-Duhur Airbase in the eastern countryside of Idlib, then they will impose a siege over more than 35 villages stretched inside the adjacent administrative border of Aleppo, Hama and Idlib.
