21 civilian casualties killed by the artillery and aerial bombardment on the eastern Ghouta in 48 hours, raise the death toll to about 220 within 28 days of escalation

Rif Dimashq Province, the Syrian Observatory for human Rights: the numbers of human losses continues to rise as a result of the death of more citizens in Douma city due to regime’s artillery shelling, where it rose to 4 at least, the number of people who were killed today in the city, which is the stronghold of Jaysh al-Islam in the Eastern Ghouta, raising to 21, including a woman and a member of the Civil Defense, the number of persons who were killed in the last 48 hours in the Eastern Ghouta, they are: 14 citizens were killed in two rounds of artillery shelling on Douma today and yesterday including a woman and a members civil defense, 4 citizens were killed in shelling by the regime forces on areas in Hamuriya, 2 men were killed in artillery shelling on Arbin and Zara, and a man was killed in bombardment by warplanes on areas in Zamalka city the a stronghold of Rahman Corps in the Eastern Ghouta, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation.

These casualties raise to 219 citizens including 57 children and 40 citizen women, the number of people who were killed since the 29th of December 2017 as a result of targeting the Eastern Ghouta by hundreds of raids and hundreds of artillery and rocket strikes, and the casualties are 129 citizens including 41 children, 31 citizen women and a male nurse, they were killed in raids by the warplanes on areas in Harasta city controlled by the Islamic movement of Ahrar Al-Sham and raids on Madyara town as well as the cities of Saqba, Hamuriya, Douma and Arbin, and 90 citizens including 16 children and 9 citizen women and 2 male nurses were killed by artillery and rocket shelling targeted areas in Beit Sawa town, the cities of Harasta, Hamuriya, Douma and Arbin as well as the towns of Kafr Batna, Mesraba, Al-Nashabiyah, Otaya and Mesraba.
