The assassination of an Iranian officer and Afghan members and commanders in the last city to be controlled by ISIS in Syria and instructions to prevent the association with its inhabitants

A number of non Syrian officers and members were killed in the far northern countryside of Deir Ezzor province, on the Syrian – Iraqi border, weeks after the “Islamic State” organization lost Al-Bokamal city, which was the last city to be controlled by it in Syria, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights; the assassination was carried out against an officer of the Iranian forces and 4 members and field commanders of the afghan militiamen, who were killed in Al-Bokamal city near the border line with Iraq, which the regime forces backed by the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces, the Revolutionary Iranian Guards, Al-Nujaba’ Iraqi Movement, Liwa Fatemiyoun, the Iraqi Hezbollah, the Lebanese Hezbollah, Syrian and non-Syrian armed militiamen loyal to the regime, controlled about 10 weeks ago.

The reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that ambiguity still surrounds the nature and the circumstances of the assassination against the Iranian officer and the 4 Afghan members and commanders, as the city is empty from any cells of the organization, while sources suggested that the assassination was carried out by bringing them by other persons then they were killed inside the city, by using sharp tools or silencers, while the regime forces and after this incident which took place about 4 days ago in Al-Bokamal city, warned their members and officers not to associate with the citizens of the city or its residents, and warned them to stay away of treating those residents.
