The warplanes bomb Afrin again and the Turkish shelling raises the number of the casualties in the area to 31 persons at least nearly half of them are children and women

The military operations are continuing in Afrin area on the Syrian – Turkish border in the north-western countryside of Aleppo, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the warplanes returned to carry out their raids targeting areas in Bulbula Township in the north of Afrin on the border with Turkey, amid renewed shelling by the Turkish forces by artillery and rocket shells on the western and the northern countryside of Afrin, targeting areas in Raju and Jendires Townships and other places in Bulbula Township and Qastal Jendo area, in conjunction with the continuation of the violent clashes between the YPG and the Self-Defense Forces against the Turkish forces and the rebel and Islamic factions, in areas stretched from Qastal Jendo in the north-east of Afrin to Hamam in the south-west of it, which the continuation of the attempts by the latter to achieve advancement in the area and impose their control over positions and areas enable them to advance more and go deep into Afrin Area, and the clashes are accompanied by intensive artillery and rocket shelling on the clash areas and other areas in Afrin countryside.

This ongoing intensive shelling on the area, resulted in the fall of more human losses, in which a citizen was killed was killed by shelling by the Turkish forces on areas in Jama village in Sharra Township raising to 33 at least, the number of citizens who have been killed since the “Olive Branch” Operation was launched on the 20th of January 2018, they are 2 citizens were killed in shelling by the SDF on areas in Kiljibrin town controlled by the rebel and Islamic factions in the northern countryside of Aleppo, and 31 citizens including 8 children and 4 women, the number of citizens who were killed by the Turkish aerial, artillery and rocket shelling on several areas of Afrin located in the north-western countryside of Aleppo, and the number of casualties may increase because of the presence of a large number of injuries, some of them have seriously wounded.
